Terms of Service
The short version: the tools are free, your files stay yours, and the tools come with no guarantee, so keep your originals.
Who runs this
iHateAudio is ihateaudio.com and the iHateAudio app in ChatGPT. Both are run by Harsh Manwani. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that. By using either one, you agree to these terms.
Using the tools
Every tool is free and needs no account. You can use them for personal or commercial work.
Your files
You keep every right to the audio you bring and to what you make from it. We claim nothing in either. You are responsible for having the right to edit the audio you use.
On the website, your files never leave your device. In ChatGPT, they are processed on our server and then deleted. Theprivacy page explains both.
Fair use of the ChatGPT app
Every job in the ChatGPT app runs on servers we pay for. Do not call it from scripts or anything other than ChatGPT, do not send it more work than a person would, and do not try to break it or reach anything behind it. We can limit or block use that harms the service or other people using it.
No guarantee
The tools are provided as they are, with no warranty of any kind. They can make mistakes: an AI tool can separate a voice badly, a transcript can mishear a word, and a tempo or key reading can be wrong. Check the result before you rely on it, and keep your original files.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using iHateAudio, including lost files, lost work and lost income.
Changes
We can change these terms. The date below shows the current version, and using iHateAudio after a change means you accept it.
